The Campus Trail

The Howard College campus trail is open to the public as well as students. The trail map can be found at the bottom of this page.

TRAIL Alliance

Formerly known as the Adventure Club, the group has officially adopted a new name – TRAIL Alliance – to better reflect its purpose and values. While outdoor activities remain a core part of what we do, the new name highlights our focus on Teamwork, Resilience, Adventure, Initiative, and Leadership. This change represents our commitment to helping students grow through meaningful experiences, both on campus and out in the world. The TRAIL Alliance continues to offer hiking, camping, and service opportunities while building a stronger, more connected student community.

The TRAIL Alliance is a student-led organization at Howard College designed to build leadership, resilience, and community through outdoor adventure, service, and student engagement. Founded in 2018, the group has grown into a space for students to challenge themselves and support one another – on campus and beyond.

What does TRAIL stand for? T – Teamwork R – Resilience A – Adventure I – Initiative L – Leadership

Whether you’re interested in hiking, organizing campus events, or just looking to connect with like-minded students, the TRAIL Alliance is for you. Open to all Howard College Big Spring students.
