Albert Camus, a French-Algerian philosopher said, “Real generosity towards the future lies in giving all to the present”. Your donations, whether great or small, make a huge difference in the future of the students who attend Howard College (Big Spring, Lamesa, San Angelo or SWCD).  Donations may be made to fund scholarships, programs, assist with construction of a building or establish an endowment fund, among other options. You may wish to remember Howard College (Big Spring, Lamesa, San Angelo or SWCD) with a planned gift in your estate plan.

Do you work for a matchmaker? Many companies match charitable gifts made by their employees. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, check with your company’s human resources department. Complete the form provided by your company and mail it to the foundation office.

All of the foundations (Howard College Foundation-Big Spring and Lamesa; Howard College at San Angelo Foundation; SWCD Foundation) were created as non-profit, tax-exempt organizations.  The purpose of the foundations is to secure financial support for the College or a particular campus and subsequently its students.  The Foundations are 501(c)3 corporations and all gifts to the Foundations may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Any individual, organization or business who wants to lend financial assistance to Howard College and/or its students, may contribute to Howard College (Big Spring, Lamesa, San Angelo or SWCD), The Howard College Foundation, The Howard College at San Angelo Foundation or The SouthWest College for the Deaf (SWCD) Foundation.

Contributors to Howard College (Big Spring, Lamesa, San Angelo or SWCD), The Howard College Foundation, The Howard College at San Angelo Foundation or The SWCD Foundation may designate their gifts in the form of cash, securities, real estate or bequest.  Pledges may be made for any designation and either paid monthly, quarterly, annually or over a multi-year-period.  The interest is then used for scholarships or projects as established by the donor.  Scholarships are endowed at a minimum of $5,000.

Contributions of any size are very much appreciated and can be made at any time.
