The Audiologist determines if a client has a hearing loss such as would adversely affect speech and language development or otherwise interfere with nominal academic participation. In the event that a hearing loss is diagnosed, the Audiologist makes appropriate recommendations for remedy, including hearing aid selection and fitting.

The Audiologist provides routine hearing aid repair and maintenance services. Hearing aid accessories are also available for purchase from this department.

The Audiologist may be the first professional some clients see in the assessment process.
