Emergency Medical Services
 |
|
The Howard County Junior College District offers all aspects of Pre-Hospital Training for persons interested in learning life-saving techniques. This training is directed toward a career in emergency medical skills for use on an ambulance but is also an invaluable tool for persons who are interested in a medical career in a hospital, on a "life-flight" helicopter, in recreational areas, or in a safety management capacity in industry. Employers are hiring EMT's and EMT/Paramedics due to their experience in handling any emergency situation which might present itself. Many persons enroll in EMS courses in order to learn what to do to protect their families in cases of emergency.
