Professional Profile
Hidalgo joined the Department of General Studies in 2007. He received a B.S. in Criminal Justice in 1993 from Lamar University, a M.A. in International Studies in 1999 and a Master's in Public Administration in 2007, from Angelo State University. He also possesses a public teaching certification.
Teaching and Related Services
Hidalgo teaches campus Government, American History, and dual-credit Government. He has over 10 years of experience teaching military history and Middle East studies. He has authored a number of intelligence briefs for the Department of Defense. Hidalgo is a member of Phi Alpha Theta, the History Honor Society and Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society.
Research and Creative Activity
Hidalgo's research interests include Middle East relations and U.S. Foreign Policy.
