Academic Advising / Counseling

Academic AdvisingYour Howard College campus Advising / Career Center is here to help you begin the process of going to college.  The first step is to contact your campus Advising / Career Center and we will lead you from that point forward.

Academic Advising:  When you are ready to register for classes, we will assign you to the appropriate Big Spring Campus or San Angelo Campus Academic Advisor. If you are a pre-health professions major, please click here

Personal Counseling:  If you are experience emotional problems or would simply like help with basic coping skills, personal counseling is available.

Perkins Grant: If your major is in one of the workforce education areas and you need assistance with child care or text books, the Perkins Grant can help. 

Job / Career Center:  If you are not sure what you would like to study in college, you can utilize one of the many career exploration outlets available in the Big Spring Campus or San Angelo Campus Job / Career Center or check out some local Employment Opportunies.
