New to Student Email? All students, registered for classes, have a dedicated e-mail address that will serve as a primary method of contact between students, faculty, and administrative offices. All students are encouraged to log into their e-mail account to activate it which will remain active for an indefinite period of time. Student e-mail is powered by Windows Live which will allow you to send and receive e-mail from any computer connected to the internet. Set up your student e-mail accountHoward College 
USERNAME - Your username is your first initial, last name, and the first four digits of your HC student ID number

PASSWORD - Your initial password is your 9 digit HC Student ID number. If this is your first time to log in to the system, please see the Password Notes below. The first time you login you will be prompted to create a new password and to select a security question with answer. (sample: see below)

| Password Notes Enrolled Spring 2010 - If the Spring 2010 semester is your first term at Howard College, your initial password will be your 9 digit HC student ID number as stated above. Please continue as instructed. Enrolled before Spring 2010 - If you have been enrolled at Howard College prior to the Spring 2010 semester AND have not previously setup your student email: Your initial password is myhc1234 with 1234 being the first four digits of your student ID. | | Password Notes Enrolled Spring 2010 - If the Spring 2010 semester is your first term at SWCID, your initial password will be your 9 digit SWCID student ID number as stated above.
