Given that child-care professionals are tasked with overseeing the development and care of children, a Child Care certificate is an almost universally required professional qualification. Howard College offers Child Care certificate courses that will show someone is qualified to watch over children and make sure childrren don't come to any harm while under care. The Child Care certificate program teaches the basics of nutrition, health and safety and give on-hand experience in watching over children. Certified child-care providers can go on to work in daycare centers, hospitals or preschools, though study for the certification can also be used as personal training for new parents.
