The specialized Livestock Evaluation and Production certificate is designed to prepare students for employment positions in a variety of livestock areas. The curriculum is designed for a student desiring training in the livestock management and health sector of agriculture. The courses will emphasize all aspects of dealing with and maintaining healthy, productive livestock. This includes knowing how healthy animals function, how to manage them to maintain a good level of health, and how to recognize problems when they occur. evaluating dairy cows

A program that focuses on the application of biological and chemical principles to the production and management of livestock animals and the production and handling of meat and other products. Includes instruction in animal sciences, range science, nutrition sciences, food science and technology, biochemistry, and related aspects of human and animal health and safety.
