THEA waived The Graphic Arts Technology program is offered for students who are interested in Graphic Arts. This program teaches design principles for the creation of advertising and publishing materials such as letterheads, business cards, ads, fliers, brochures and manuals. Possible Employment Positions: Graphic arts or artist Possible Employment Locations: Government agency, state agency, business or industry. Prerequisites: ENGL 0313, ENGL 0323, MATH 0302, PSYC 0200 and PSYC 0300 Program Duration: Three semesters. An additional semester of basic skills courses may be required depending on student’s prior training/education. Lab Kit: $130 to be paid at the time of registration 1Students who lack proficiency in sign communication may be required to enroll in SLNG 1304, SLNG 1305 or SLNG 1344 until proficiency is attained. 1Students who lack a proficiency in keyboarding speed and accuracy may be required to enroll in POFT 1127 until proficiency is attained.
