The College Preparatory Education Program is designed to assist students in acquiring the necessary academic skills
required for college-level study. College prep courses cannot be used for transfer credit or in determining the 2.0
("C") transfer average. This program is designed to serve students who:
- Score below the passing level on the TASP;
- Did not have adequate exposure to these skills;
- Have been out of the academic setting for some time;
- Feel their skills in these areas are not as strong as
needed.
The curriculum of this program is centered on the basic abilities to write, read, do fundamental mathematics; and
study effectively.
