While the Fitness Center does not necessarily endorse any of the information contained on the following links, and is not affiliated with any of the organizations represented here, the links are provided to allow you to read up on some of the principals involved in aerobics, weight lifting, walking and other related fitness areas. As in anything, use common sense while reading this information, and if you have doubts or questions concerning any of this information and how you might use it to your own benefit in your own work outs, please talk to the Fitness Center staff or consult your own physician.
If you are interested in finding more information concerning health and fitness on the Internet, use one of the search engines such as AltaVista or HotBot. You can search on key words such as "fitness", "weight lifting", "aerobics", etc... As you use these search engines you will find a wealth of information concerning almost anything you are interested in. Please remember that ANYONE can put information on the Internet whether they know what they are talking about or not. Anything that seems too good to be true might really be too good to be true. Have fun with the information contained in these links, and remember that knowing how to become fit isn't the same as Being Fit. Come to the Fitness Center and put some of this information to use.
