From The President

Fall 2003 began just a few weeks ago and already our athletic teams are practicing and scrimmaging. Howard College is excited about the 2003-2004 season. We have many new faces this year, and I know that you look forward to meeting the athletes representing Howard College. These student-athletes really have a challenge, juggling classes, labs, practice, games and extra-curricular activities. But, they do it and do it well. Howard College now has two busses for the athletic teams to use for travel. The college made a commitment last year to provide safer transportation for the athletes. The busses have recently returned from Lubbock where the Howard College mascot, logo, motto and web site were painted onto the sides, front and back. Not only will our athletes be safer, they will also be advertising Howard College. We hope you will show your support for Howard College athletics again this year by joining the Hawk Flight Club.
