The Howard College Cheerleaders pride themselves in being the most enthusiastic and out going group on campus. They rank among HC's most visible student organizations and feature campus leaders.    The Howard College Cheerleaders are very active throughout the entire school year, attending and performing at Howard College athletic events. Additionally, the Howard College Cheerleaders perform at the State Hospital, Veteran's Hospital at Valentines Day, kick off the Memory Walk, and serve for different events at the Heritage Museum and many more campus and community events.    We also compete in the WJCAC Cheerleading Competition in which we received 1st place in the all girl division for 2005.    The Howard College Cheerleaders continue their support for Baseball, Softball and Rodeo. Also they assist Howard College with recruiting and often serve as official hostesses for various campus events.    Howard College Cheerleaders have a Mini Cheer Camp for their fund raiser in September. They also give private camps. In the spring they judge several Jr High and High School cheer and dance tryouts.    Howard College Cheerleaders go to camp in San Marcus in July. You have a chance to be chosen to tryout for UCA Staff. In the past we have several cheerleaders that were chosen. It is a great opportunity.    Scholarships will be awarded to every cheerleader who is chosen. Scholarships amounts depend on you ability. In addition to the scholarship, the Howard College Cheerleaders will also receive credit for life time fitness, which is transferable.    Videos have been added to tryouts this year. This will help to see you level of ability in cheer, dance, jumps, tumbling and stunting. I am excited about adding video's to our tryouts.
