The Emergency Medical Technology Course is the foundational course for all levels (except the non-credit Emergency Care Attendant).
The EMT course must be taken before the EMT/Intermediate or EMT/Paramedic. If you are a Texas Department of Health Certified EMT-Basic, then you are ready for the next level.
If you have not yet taken the EMT-Basic course or have had no prior medical training, that's okay too. We will take you from a beginning EMT all the way to the Paramedic level at Howard College.
You may stop at any level and join back in as you choose.
EMT COURSES:
You must enroll in BOTH of these courses together, passing with a 75 overall grade average and all skills, in order to qualify for Certification through Texas Department of Health. WHERE THE FUN BEGINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!...............
