The Paramedic Certification program is a college-based program that does not require an associate degree. The completion of requirements will enable you to sit for the State Texas Department of Health Certification exam. Upon passing the exam, you will be considered a Texas Certified Paramedic for a period of 4 years during which you may complete continuing education hours in order to keep your certification.
