Mary's Thoughts on Howard College

Why Howard College?
The college was close to home and it was a smaller school that I thought would be a better fit for me.

Why Education?
I've always wanted to be a teacher.  I would substitute also and I enjoyed it.  I know bring a teacher would be more challenging than a substitute, but I am up for the challenge.

Career Goals
I plan to attend UTPB when I am done at Howard College.

Favorite Professor
My favorite professor has been Mr. Patterson.  He helped me with my writing and challenged me to do better.

Best Studying Advice
Don't wait till the last minute to study or do your homework.  It will only stress you out more.

Most Valuable Learning Experience
The learning.  I have learned so much my years at Howard College.

Relax and Have Fun
I like going to the movies.

What I like most about Howard College
I loved how the advisors at the Lamesa campus are so helpful.  Monica and Donna will answer any questions or help in any way they can.

What I tell future Howard College students
This is really a good college to start off at.  They care and are more attentive if you are having trouble in class to get you a tutor or if you need a class that is full already.  Monica will go the extra mile for you.
